This year's raffle car is a one-owner 1967 Mustang that has been in Tyler its entire life. The Mustang was mechanically gone through by Curtis Warren, member of the East Texas Auto & Cycle Show Committee and Mustang Club of East Texas (i.e. suspension, brakes, fuel system, engine, etc. and Curtis detailed the undercarriage). The restoration Team disassembled the car, sand blasted the Sheetmetal, repaired typical rust/dents and painted it Viper Red. It was then re-assembled with over $5K in parts. Start to finish was about 2-months.
Here are a few of the vehicles East Texas Crisis Center has raffled off, most of which were generously donated by Tyler Ford and David Irwin.
